Acupuncture Injection Therapy Certification Course 2020
(60 hour AIT Seminar: CEUs provided to Licensed Practitioners)

2020 Acupuncture Injection Therapy (AIT) Certification Program at Florida College of Integrative Medicine

Florida College of Integrative Medicine is proud to announce that we are offering a 60 hour certification program in Acupuncture injection Therapy. 

Dates: M 1/6, T 1/7, W 1/8, TH 1/9, M 1/13, T 1/14, W 1/15, TH 1/16 (Monday through Thursday for 2 weeks)

This 60 hour course provides clinical theory, principles and techniques, as well as evidence-based application for acupuncture injection therapies including TCM injection methods, Biopuncture, Physiologic Regulating Medicine, and Trigger Point Therapy. The course will cover: History and development of acupuncture injection therapy, Differential Diagnosis, Definitions, concepts and pathophysiology. We will discuss the nature, function, channels entered, and contraindications of herbal, homeopathic and nutritional injectables, diseases amenable to treatment with acupuncture injection therapy and the injectables appropriate to treat them, and identification of appropriate points for treatment, including palpatory diagnosis. The course will also go into the review of anatomy and referral zones, universal precautions including management of blood borne pathogens and biohazardous waste, and procedures for injections, including preparing the injectables, contraindications and precautions. This course will discuss administration techniques including 10 Hours of clinical practice on a patient or patients at the FCIM onsite clinic with equipment needed for injection therapy provided as part of the course.

Mandatory 60 Hour course attendance is required for AIT certification.  You will NOT be issued an AIT certificate if you are tardy or miss any portion of the class.

This course will be taught by Dr. Stacy Taylor, A.P, D.O.M, RN.

 

Course Fees and Registration: 

Special Reduced Rate for Current Students Enrolled in Class 49, 50 and 51: $600

FCIM Alumni: $1000

Non-Alumni Practitioners: $1300

  • The deadline for registration and payment is December 20, 2019.  
  • All cancellations received on January 3rd or after will be assessed an administrative fee of $100. 
  • No refunds will be granted after January 6, 2020.  
  • The college reserves the right to cancel the course or change the course dates.  If the college cancels the course, a full refund will be granted.  If the college changes the course dates and a registrant is unable to attend, a full refund will be granted.
