Peter Deadman has worked in the field of healthcare for nearly 50 years. He is co-founder of Infinity Foods - a natural and organic food business in the UK - and of the Brighton Natural Health Centre educational charity. He is the author of a cookbook (Nature’s Foods), an acupuncture textbook (A Manual of Acupuncture) and a book about yangsheng/nourishment of Life (Live Well Live Long). He is founder of The Journal of Chinese Medicine, practiced Chinese medicine for30 years and is an international lecturer and teacher of qigong.

Peter, along with Charlotte Whitestone, Jeremy Marshall and Effie Love, founded The Chinese Medicine Forestry Trust.

The Chinese Medicine Forestry Trust charity has been set up to promote planetary, human and species health and wellbeing by planting trees and protecting forests throughout the world. All donations will be shared equally among the Woodland Trust, the World Land Trust, and Tree Nation.
