DISTAL METHOD ACUPUNCTURE 

This course will provide an introduction to Distal Method Acupuncture as practiced by Dr Nate Mohler.

Module I is a theory-led class that will cover channel relationships as taught in the Tan/Tang systems, select Tung Points, and advanced to incorporate into a practice. 

Module II is Advanced techniques and incorporates herbal medicine , meridian conversion and so much more.

Nate Mohler, LAc is an acupuncturist and herbalist who has been in practice for 14 years. He graduated with his Masters in Oriental Medicine from East-West College of Natural Medicine in 2003 and practiced in the State of Florida until 2011 when he moved to Colorado. He now works for the Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO, where he supervises in the student clinic and teaches acupuncture and traditional Chinese plant medicine. Additionally, he practices and teaches with Shuhari Health Works in Wheat Ridge, CO where he specializes in the use of needles distal to the site of the condition.

Mohler is the founding director of the American Institute of Integrative Herbalism an organization dedicated to teaching the use of North American medicinal plants within the context of Chinese medicine. In 2016, he published a field guide for medicinal plants found in the Colorado region. He has also entered the Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine program at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and expects to graduate in mid 2018.
